great game and that but too may glitches. like the save glitch the starbase glitch and buying glitch, where the picture cycles through all the ships so you cant see what your buying. Also i hate fleets because half the time your ships disband themselves and you cant do anything with them.

then type cheat
then hit f8 type
maxdur = max duranium
or maxlat = 99999999999 latinum
or imgood = 100 prestieg
or urmine = ownage of the planet
if u type imgood then type ur mine in a new box on the same planet ur will own it if u warp to another planet then back again to the one u type imgood then urmine on.

all i do to take over a planet is to rush on them i turn on auto target and i rush in there with my fleet and i lower stenth by 500 everytime maybe even more

i have had same problem with a couple of planets i u have waiged war with them ur pretty much screwed cause if u can ttake planets of there they just keep coming but earth was easy for me i destroyed all of there plantets but link prime cause i got lower it streanth at all either

i have 356 nav and i cant find the worm hole anymore where is it oh and i just took pver earth cause i dont need it any more and i have like 50 defiants there which are fast small war ships and can put u through hell in numbers. but i still cant cant build there all my other planets are deck out with cardassian space stations

Really? wow! well, i had to restart a new game four times before I clicked on saved games to find out what that was about and, bingo, there were all my games! Im actually glad for the restarts, since they taught me something new. So far, i have seven planets under my control and had alliances with earth empire, klingon empire, cardassian empire, the borg(Hell ya!! though i havnt seen a cube yet. when i do, im taking it over!) and every other planet out there, EXEPT Romulas. Im wiping them off the face of the universe. Suckers! By the way, for everybody reading this, whats your favorite ship so far?

in answer to oraciion's 1st question: i dont really know what happens to them but 1 building always disapears i think they get attacked by enemys or pirates, its like if you build 6 buildings 3 will disapear.
2nd question: if their stenght goes below 0 then you can inhabit the planet and take control.

Great game. but i have two questions. One. i dont know why, but when i build stations in any system, including the ones i own, they keep disappering on me when i leave and come back! why is that?! it took me forever to save up for the dyson sphere, and costed me a fortune to buy enough materials to actually build it, but i dont want that all go to waste when i know it will disapper when i leave the system. is this a bug or what? second question. how do i take over an already owned system besides making them my allies? is that the only way? ive sent in my urber fleet and wiped out pretty much ever single station and ship out there, but they still refuse to bow to my rule. any help with any of this?

here is what you do
Go to a planet (i recamend the one you start out at)
and just hist the person button tell your away team exp get to 100 then all you have to do is go to and unhabbided planet and colonise it its gets your money up fast and it works

[READ THIS SECRET SHPS] hi flash trek frends right to get the drednoot or what ever it is its on paso go fly a bit east south for dum people thats right and then down lol just kidin and thers a worm hole in bjorn or what ever its calld it nere cardasser its west south you need 200+ nav get it from debln but in the worm hole you will find a vvvvv big station just go too it on the map and buy what you can thers the best phaser in the game oooo and thers a secret ship in remius go south west aaaa but hers the hard part its sometimes cloakt hope this helpt you all

Great game, here are some good tips. Start off as a Vulcan and get to know the game. Then start trading with ships (e.g. buy 40 tons of napkins for 2 ea and sell to another ship for 18 ea). This takes forever but pays off. Save up for a Vulcan Explorer (about 70k) and then trade again til you have 3-10 mil (I got 45mil cause I found a ship selling something for a cheap price and another ship right beside it buying the thing for 5 times as much). Buy a few small Vulcan ships to put inside your Explorer and start conquering abandoned planets. That should build up your empire and help you with your cash. Start buying the plans to habitat stations and starbases. From the starbases (expecially the human one, which can be purchased at Earth) you can get other designs and plans. Build up your empire and your fleet until you have 3-5 planets, at least one with over 15 bil. Then get an Explorer fleet of about 10 with those medium cruiser ships and a few of the small ones. Send them over to Romulus and take it over. This is the test to see if your empire is good enough. If you pass, then the galaxy will eventually be yours.

This is a good game i like hte diversity of jobs, and the fact that you can also capyue plants for a facton is good , i also lke the fact that you can buy hidden ships like the remon warbrd or the deadnoght that are admitadly hard to find, has anyone gota biosphere for there planet yer i mean wow thsoe theins kick ass, but capuring plants is way too hard for my likeing i chnt evan concuer lieshaa.........:( but u shall keep at it when i have enough cah for that kick ass drednought.

This is a AWSOME game and i dont know any cheats but i do know a o lets call it a "flaw" in the game.
Step 1:
Go to Lysia and check the prices for the Lysia Fighter if its under 100 then but a full fleet of them if its above 100 go to Ferenginar then come back and repeat that untill it drops under 100.
Step 2:
Click on the planet click on Sell go to Ships and if you hold your mouse over one of the ships youll see you cna sell if for 500 for example:the first time i did this i bought a a fleet of them and each where 8 bucks and i sold them for 500 but b4 i sold the first one i looked at the sell price and i was shocked and then i knew thats how i could get money buy and sell(End Example)but theres something else sometimes when i would try to sell them one or more would not sell to fix this go to Ferenginar and go back to Lysia then sell your ships and in about 20-30 mins you should have loads of money and dont woory only two more things number 1:make sure you have Lysia under YOUR control and make sure to guard it from the Earth Empire!number two dont think you cant die when you get a big ship with good shields,good hull and good weps because i did and well lets just say the enemy enjoyed splatering my guts all over the galaxy :(!!!

as for the last question if u have destryed all defenses and ships in the planet and the strength is 0 (zero) then leave a fleet there (a group of ur ships) and warp to other planets untill people in that planet that ur trying 2 take over start leaving and it will eventualy say planet (name of planet here) has been abandened for lack of protection then go back and take over it. (the fleet u left there is so no other small government will set up and give u ba bit of more trouble.

Ok, a nice easy way to enjoy the game, start off as any empire, and do a few basic trade missions by hailing planets and delivering cargo, once you have around 2000 cash, warp to vulcan, and hail the little red station to the north of the planet, then spend all 2000 of your money on away team training (requires about 10 re-hails), after this, you have enough experience to capture planets. Konael, Iconia, Denmark and Gorn are all systems that can be captured without fights by just tranporting people down when over the planet.
Now, once you have as many planets as you like, just warp to another system, as warping fast forwards days, so by warping from one end of the map to the other (Hof-Maso to Trill (NOT Blender, powerful enemys stay there, and you wont be able to refuel)) your planets will automatically generate daily cash for you. A warp from one side of the map to the other with 4 planets earns just under 50000 cash, every time.
For anyone else having this problem; planets owned by other races are taken over by destroying all their orbiting ships/stations until the planets strength shows as 0. Then you can beam down as normal.

i liked this game its awsome eventhough im not a star trek person. i know some cheats to the game just poste somthing asking wat r they and ill tell u anyway u take over a planet by ataking it until its deffenses reach zero or attak or watever. or u can cheat and put ( the key) F8 and type in im good then press again to type in urmine. anymore questions ill be glad to try and answer oh and borg cubes just go to the last planet in the nebula and look around (make sure u have a good ship).

you know, the people who say its hard dont have any arcade expernce at all. this is the most best basass game in the world (thats free) iv'e playid it for over 6 months now. in that time ive gotten all the uber ships (the best ships in the game can take a borg cube in like 3 seconds) a feet of ships all the plantes killed over 60000 other ships (no i did not count im judging)
oh and did not cheat once
